The holiday season is upon us and it’s time for pumpkin spice everything and cranberry toppings! Here is our homemade organic low sugar recipe for cranberry sauce.
3 cups of organic whole cranberries
2 cups of filtered water
2 packets of unflavored gelatin
2 tablespoons of pure wild honey
4 tablespoons of organic coconut sugar
Put water and cranberries in a pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer for 15 minutes. Using a large wooden spoon mash the cranberries. Add all other ingredients and stir until mixed. Allow to simmer for an additional 5 minutes. Turn off heat and pour in 1/2 cup cool filtered water. Then place in a container in the refrigerator and allow to chill and solidify overnight.
